“I was inspired by photographer Sølve Sundsbø and his work with the 2011 Savage Beauty Exhibition, honoring Alexander McQueen, where Sølve used real-life models and made them look like mannequins. With this series, I’m doing the reverse, taking mannequins and shooting them in a way that resembles real-life models, using lighting, angles, wardrobe, and styling to emphasize their anonymity.
