About the Artist:

Ryan Wurst is an artist who builds worlds filled with absurdity and emotion. His work takes many forms like animation, music, games, and performance. In addition to his artwork, Wurst is an avid organizer who ran a record label (Always Human Tapes), produced many live events, ran an art gallery (The Midnight Brigade, and currently runs a creative studio (Frolic). Wurst holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Art and Technology from CU Boulder, an MFA in Experimental Art and Technology from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelors in Music Composition from CU Boulder.
