Seven has cultural associations with luck, wisdom, and spiritual development. It is connected to color and our sense of sight (the rainbow broken into ROYGBIV), and with sound via the seven notes in the Western musical scale. The seven days of the week are connected to the seven planets of antiquity, which people can see with the naked eye. In the Tarot, the number seven highlights an important stage of development, where understanding is reached after lessons are learned. To me, seven symbolizes an evolved creative expression. It is a sense of the spiritual, experienced through art. The transcendent and the material world have been influencing each other for awhile, and humans are building civilizations and creating more intricate music and art. Seven is also associated with victory. What a great year for the Supernova Festival to reach, especially after surmounting obstacles in years five and six.
