About the Artist:

Mishko is Nevan Doyle – a Los Angeles based artist, hailing from rural Oregon.
They came up as a photographer and digital artist, exploring through the lens of
spiritual expansion and mental health. Art became a form of therapy and Nevan
began creating a new artwork nearly every day for 8 years. Through these years of exploration, they landed on a style blending surreality, nostalgia, and natural
psychedelia. Channeling this style into typography led to an explosion in Nevan’s
online presence. Others became inspired to recreate their work, leading to
Nevan’s colorful melting word art being dubbed “The Mishko Effect.” It became a
graphic design trend far bigger than Nevan’s output.

This explosion also led to getting the opportunities to create work for music artists and brands from across the globe including HBO, Disney, Calvin Klein, Janet Jackson, Green Day, OutKast, and many more. Once moving to LA, Nevan began focusing on acting,
animation, and directing live action on a path towards filmmaking.
