Weeds and overgrowth serve as a metaphor for personal or public habits or things in our lives that we wish to rid ourselves of. We pull them out and they are gone for a time, but they return as a pattern of ongoing struggle which changes us. There are things that overtake our lives, arriving in waves that both crash and cleanse.
Special thanks to the College of Arts & Media at CU Denver for their support of creative research.
