Filmed in Greenland, "they called it" follows the twists and turns of ice melting and flowing out of the Arctic Circle, anticipating a world in which all northern ice has melted. These shots can also be seen in my recent cinematic song cycle, MELT: the memory of ice, which premiered at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science as part of the 2024 Digerati Experimental Media Festival, curated by Sharifa Lafon / Denver Digerati.
