The Inevitable

Autumn Rose and Talia G da Silva
November 5 - December 3, 2023

Nature and technology are bound by growth in this space. We are inspired by the ways nature reclaims abandoned places. It invites the idea that nature will always persevere and show us the fragility of human life. As you stand in our exhibition, you are introduced to a potential time in our future, a time where nature has reclaimed this eclectic bedroom of someone who had a creative and musical spirit. The songs you hear on the radio preserve a nostalgic and familiar atmosphere that no longer exists. What will be, will be.

Artist Bios:

Autumn Rose Bio

My name is Autumn Rose I am an illustrator, painter and the artist behind Fallflower Art. I received my bachelor’s in Fine Art with an emphasis on illustration from CU Denver in 2022. I have loved art for as long as I’ve been alive! I call myself a magical realist because I specialize in portraiture and botanical surrealist art. You’ll never find me sticking to one medium as I love to paint on found objects and use my iPad to make digital paintings and stickers. I have a small business where I sell at markets and on instagram. I sell products from my work like stickers, prints, clothing items, bags, and more! I love photography, music, being outdoors and my dogs. You can find my art, my sketches, and small snippets of my life on instagram and facebook @fallflowerart and on https://fallflowerart.square.site (https://fallflowerart.square.site)

Talia da Silva Bio

Hello! My name is Natalia, (known as Talia through the art world) am a Denver based, Afro-Latina artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Colorado Denver and a minor in Psychology. My favorite mediums to work with are watercolors, ink, and insta-morph; occasionally colored pencils, oil, or acrylic paints. I enjoy paying close attention to detail, and typically add extra features to amplify the piece, making it even more my own. With these skills, I have sold my pieces at many different events and gatherings . I currently work as an Art and Scenic Repair Associate at  Meow Wolf Denver, and plan to continue my processes there as a creative for many more years.
